Supermarkets and shopping

For all of you who want to try our wonderful local food, a market opened in the centre of Matrei recently, where a variety of produce from local farmers such as bacon, jams, schnapps, cheese and much more is sold. This means you can take a bit of your holiday home with you! To enjoy fresh produce during your holiday too there are several supermarkets very close to the SUN apartments. BILLA is a two minute walk away and provides an extensive range of foods and other items which might be useful for your holiday. Not much further away is the SPAR. There is also an M-Preis supermarket at the gondola valley station. Here too is a large sports shop where you will find sports equipment and clothing. It is also worth making a trip to the shopping town of Lienz, which is just 20 minutes away. It's all here - SUN Matrei
